The concept of our festival follows the principle „no more rules“. Creativity is the commodity of the 21 century. The creative industries are a very new branch with strong increase. Creativity is a high asked product on the market today with a big economical value. This influenced us to see creativity as a commodity which should be accessible for everyone.

To enable this we wanted to create a creative machine. It produces innovation which will be packaged in a can. It should be the starting point of creative ideas. There are no rules, everyone should be and can be creative. The commodity ist just the base and should help to think and act by yourself.

We chose the can because of Andy Warhol’s campbell can. Warhol doesn’t follow any rules, he breaks the conventions of his time and gets famous just because of this simple can. Today you can buy everything you want so now it should be possible to buy innovation too.

To illustrate the inside of the can, the part which represents innovation we took Alex Trochut as our role model. We wanted to illustrate a creative, indefinable object. I drew the whole illustration in Adobe Illustrator.
