I’ve found a really cool blog from Geoff Coates. He is an art director for Capcom Studios in Vancouver.

In one article he writes about how to be an art director. When you look how it is in real life he definitely puts it straight on the point. Geoff points out how an art director should look like (Dress the part) and how he has to behave (The Move, Learn the Lingo, Be Batman). Moreover he writes about topics of daily business. He always has his own illustrations in the articles which makes it easy and funny to read.
